Challenges before the website :
Paire Littéraire saw its developer abandon the project. Joanne was therefore blocked with the ongoing developments, overflowing with ideas and modifications to make. Moreover, the code was the property of the former developer. We therefore did not have access to his source code. The website also contained important performance issues where pages took 10-15 seconds to load.
Solutions with the website :
The website was completely redesigned, improving performance issues. The database was migrated and rearchitected to optimize performance. Pages load in less than a second. All functionalities have been kept and the modifications have been applied to make the website to Joanne's taste.

A few words about the project :
Paire Littéraire is a four-handed game where 2 anonymous players take turns writing a text of 250 to 500 words to write a story. The goal is to create an original story and share it with other players. The website allows you to manage users, stories and ongoing games. It is designed to be simple and intuitive to use.
Special functionalities of the website
1. Users management
The backoffice of Paire Littéraire, section users. It allows to manage users, to create, modify and delete them, for a good management of the access to the game's information.
2. Stories management
The backoffice of Paire Littéraire, section stories. It allows to manage stories, to create, modify and delete them, to publish them, to archive them, to change the game turn, the story step, to modify the cover page, the title and any text written in the story. It allows total control over the four hands story's progress.
3. Waitrooms management
The backoffice of Paire Littéraire, section 'waitrooms'. It allows to manage pairs of players, to check players' preferences, to change players' waitrooms, to remove a player from a waitroom.
4. Emails management
The backoffice of Paire Littéraire, section emails. It allows to manage automatic emails, sent at different stages of the game. It allows to include dynamic variables to personalize the email content according to the game step and players.
5. Messages management
The backoffice of Paire Littéraire, section messages. All players can send a message to other players on the platform. The administrator can read all messages to ensure the respect of the game rules, as well as the respect of others.
