The challenge
West Parc managed its reservations with an excel file. This created frequent errors in entry and the learning of the reservation system for new employees required a lot of time and attention from Ludovic, Guillaume and their managers. Moreover, all reservations were made by phone, which prevented employees from doing other tasks. With more than 1000 reservations per month, it was very difficult to manage reservations manually.
The solution
The reservation system has saved the owners a lot of management time thanks to the ease of use for old and new employees. Clients could also book online, without having to call the establishment. Moreover, everything was configured so that there was no conflict between one reservation and another, thus limiting errors in entry.
The project
The West Parc website was done in two stages: the showcase website (1st year) and their reservation system (2nd year). The showcase portion offers West Parc online visibility and allows their potential customers to learn about upcoming activities as well as the establishment's schedule. The backoffice portion allows for complete management of the establishment's reservations with significant control over many parameters. The reservation system has saved the owners a lot of management time thanks to the ease of use of the system for old and new employees.
