Quoi Faire à Sutton
The challenge
There was no central, bilingual place to discover Sutton's events and activities, and organizers had no easy way to publish and promote their events to residents and visitors.
The solution
A full platform: discovery (search, 20 categories, interactive map), user-created events with collaborator invites, RSVPs with capacity and waitlist, comments and messaging, and automated bilingual email reminders. All built on Supabase with row-level security.
The project
Quoi Faire à Sutton is a bilingual (FR/EN) community events-discovery platform for the town of Sutton. Search and filters across 20 categories, an interactive Google map with marker clustering, user accounts, event creation with a rich editor and images, RSVPs and waitlists, comments, user-to-user messaging, and automated reminders 24 h before each event.
